While the Canadian Co-Parenting Centres was created primarily to assist high conflict families, whose needs were not being met by existing services, we would very much like to also provide counselling services to families prior to separation in an effort to prevent the breakup of the family.

If you are in a relationship that is falling apart, or has fallen apart, and are wanting to save it, don't despair.  Keep trying.  If you have tried counselling before and it didn't work, let us try to help you.  If we're not successful either, we'll refer you to someone else.  If your partner won't participate in counselling and has no interest in getting back together, don't lose hope.  Come in on your own.

While times like these can be very difficult and demanding, it is often useful to fit in some reading.  Reading the right book or article can help process thoughts and feelings.  Two books that we often recommend to people who are trying to save their relationship and family are: The Divorce Remedy: The Proven 7-Step Program for Saving Your Marriage, by Michele Wiener-Davis, and Should I Stay Or Go?: How Controlled Separation (CS) Can Save Your Marriage, by Lee Raffel (link to cover, Contents, and Preface).
