Family Mediation Services is provided by Alberta Justice and is located in downtown Calgary in the J. J. Bowlen building. They offer free mediation for families, if one of the parent's income is less than $40,000. They also offer a service called Brief Conflict Intervention for families with low incomes again, a child less that 6 years old, and there are some other restrictions as well. If you are not in a hurry, these services are quite good. If you don't want to wait, if your circumstances don't fit their criteria, or if you anticipate needing services over a longer period of time and want to work with the same service provider, please contact the Calgary Co-Parenting Centre.
